Signs your brakes need a look

How do I know if I need pads or rotors?

Pads wear out first. Rotors get replaced when they're worn too thin, grooved or warped, which you often feel as a shake in the pedal or wheel. We measure both and show you where they stand before anything gets replaced.

Is it safe to drive with squealing brakes?

A squeal is usually the wear indicator telling you the pads are getting low. It's a sign to get them looked at soon. Grinding, a soft pedal or pulling to one side are more serious, and you should get the car checked right away.
